Immerse yourself in the heart of Canadian military aviation

The Air Defense Museum is proud to announce the opening of its tourist season. This year, the museum invites visitors of all ages to dive into the fascinating history of Canadian military aviation through new exhibits, interactive experiences, and immersive technologies.

The new exhibition, Wings and Men, takes visitors on a captivating journey from the air battles of the First World War to modern missions. Visitors will discover heroic stories and iconic aircraft that have marked each era. This immersive experience pays tribute to the courage and determination of those who shaped our history.

The museum tour also includes:

  • Masters of the Sky: an exhibition that recounts the glory and challenges of Canadian aviators;
  • State of Alert: using augmented reality, explore iconic aircraft and the human history surrounding them in the aircraft park;
  • Virtual Reality Flight Simulators: take the controls of a CF-18 during thrilling combat missions;
  • The Legacy of the Brave: a tribute to the Bagotville military personnel who made history;
  • A village with feet of clay: relive the heroic intervention of CFB Bagotville during the Saint-Jean-Vianney landslide.

The Air Defense Museum invites you to discover a heritage rich in achievements and innovations through programming designed for all audiences. The museum will be open daily from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. from June 9 to September 1. Reservations are required and can be made on the museum's website.
